I purchased my X1 primarily for two purposes. One for travelling across the asia pacific region. I tried it live in thailand recently using the X1 one on one feature with bluetooth connected to my mobile phone on roaming. Using the x1 was easy and the translation was accurate and easily understood by thai natives. Works very well and ideally connected to the internet via bluetooth/mobile on roaming to ensure prompt access to accurate translation
I’ve used them to listen to other languages, via my laptop. I’d say about 80% accurate. I understand they are not meant/designed for this! It appears the receiver doesn’t pick up this speech, unless it is very loud and clear.
I will be taking the earbuds overseas in a couple of weeks. I’ll see how they go.
Ravie de ces écouteurs ! Pour moi, ils sont clairement plus performants que le modèle précédent (les WT2 Edge Offline). On sent une vraie évolution : le micro capte mieux la voix, la traduction est plus fluide, et les erreurs sont moins fréquentes. Je les ai utilisés pendant deux semaines intensives en Chine, sans parler la langue, et ils m’ont réellement aidée.
Le design est plus discret et plus élégant ; j’apprécie surtout la disparition de cette lumière gênante qui restait allumée même dans le noir. L’autonomie est correcte, meilleure que les anciens modèles, mais j’aimerais encore gagner quelques heures pour pouvoir les utiliser toute une journée de travail (7 heures) sans recharge.
Quelques petits bémols cependant : le confort pourrait être amélioré, surtout pour les personnes ayant de petites oreilles comme moi, et le mode hors ligne pour le mandarin reste très limité — les phrases sont parfois incohérentes. Un volume sonore plus puissant en traduction simultanée serait aussi bienvenu, ainsi qu’une indication claire du niveau de batterie pendant la charge.
Bref, un produit proche de l’excellence, déjà très pratique, mais qui peut encore progresser sur certains points.

I would highly recommend this product to anybody. When I was told that I could go and talk to my wife in China using my earbuds in my phone and the app called WeChat I was taken by surprise. I actually spoke to my wife and it translated on her end in Chinese. Once you spoke with me I was able to understand her in English. Amazing. I had purchased the wt2 almost 2 years ago and then I saw the technology in the wt4 Pro and at first I was questionable. But I am highly satisfied with my translation earpieces and I would recommend to anyone to make a purchase to buy this. If you ever need a spokesman/ salesperson please feel free to let me know I would be more than happy to endorse this product.
We use it in our office when I’m talking to clients. I’m more comfortable speaking in their native language than an English. The fact that it writes it down as well makes it very useful for people to read and hear at the same time.
Product is exactly what they say. Response time is very fast and sometimes translation occurs even the time you speak!! Translation accurancy is really amazing if you speak slow & clear. The only issue I found is: if you are in a noisy environment earbuds will translate everything they capture via microphone, but this is something known. It was a good investment for me. As I travel a lot, it gives me an advantage to communicate with local people in a more personal and efficient way. I surely suggest it for travellers.

Delivery was super and everything at the highest level! The earbuds are also great and work well. I’m taking off one star only because there’s an advertised AI summary feature and other intelligent functions, but I haven’t yet figured out how to use them. It’s also a bit disappointing that they can’t be connected to a laptop. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase and the service!

brought the Fluentalk T1 Mini with me on a 10-day holiday in China (Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai), and it ended up being one of the most useful things I packed.
First off, it’s very easy to use — just turn it on, pick your language pair (in my case, English ⇄ Chinese), and press the button to talk. The translations came through quickly and were surprisingly accurate, especially when asking for directions, ordering food, or chatting with locals who didn’t speak English.
It was most helpful in restaurants and shops, where menus and signs were only in Chinese. I used the photo translation feature a lot — it’s not instant, but it did the job for understanding dishes and basic signage. Just make sure you’re in a well-lit area when using it.
What impressed me most was the built-in data. I didn’t have to worry about getting a local SIM card — the device connected automatically in every city I visited. It made a big difference, especially on day trips where Wi-Fi wasn’t available.
That said, it’s not perfect. In crowded areas like train stations or night markets, background noise made it harder for the mic to catch what people were saying. And the offline translation is limited — it’s okay in a pinch but nowhere near as accurate as when connected online.
Battery life was decent. I charged it each night just to be safe, but it easily lasted the whole day even with regular use.
There are many additional features, but the main thing is that there is offline translation without the need for the Internet.
Fast shipping, good headphone quality, but the earphone case should have a more matte finish to prevent fingerprints and scratches.
The app works well with mobile phones; I suggest developing compatibility with PC or enabling direct translation from PC.
I find the W4 Earbuds are much better than the Pros in design and comfort.
I wish the W4's could do call translation then they would score 5 star.
I see no reason why that is not possible with a software update in the app.
The battery life has doubled since the WT edge which is great. I find the earbud holder /charger quite large having got used to the WT edge earbud holder.
Translation seems quicker and more accurate than the WT edge.
I think a perfect product is just a software update away for a world's best seller. More people would buy the W4 as a travel companion rather than the W4 pro that has a large and cumbersome case/ charger.
I think that the question that must to be put to developer's and product manager is what problem are they trying to solve.
one on one and call translation with multiple off line languages would probably be the ideal product with the W4 earbuds..
All the other features that are included are mostly available in google translate.
So far they are working like a basic headphone and the translation is pretty good. But they fall out of my ear a lot, the length gets caught in my hair.

If you are looking for a top tier multi functional translation device these earbuds are a must have. They function as regular Bluetooth earbuds and also translates a variety of languages. I must say they are comfy in the ears at first I thought they would fall out but they didn’t they stayed in surprisingly secure. Easy to set up and start your bilingual conversation in seconds. Give one ear bud to the person you’re talking to and you wear the other one select your languages and the translation begins once someone starts talking. It makes conversation easy, seamless and very natural. I travel abroad often I can’t Imagine what I would do without these. While I am trying to learn Spanish it’s a long process and these help immensely. I use them at work also with customers and co-workers it makes a world of difference being able to bridge the language gap so easily. Does it get everything right all of the time probably not nothing is perfect but with a very high accuracy rate and constant updates this is pretty close. I was also able to finally watch this documentary in Spanish and understand it completely with the listen and play feature whatever audio your phone or TV is playing will be picked up and translated into your desired language. Definitely a game changer. If anybody is on the fence and you're undecided take the plunge you’ll be happy you did. These will be with me every time I travel or I just want to listen to some music or a podcast or watch something in another language. These truly are an all in one device.
Fairly decent device however, unable to be 100% accurate in word pronunciation even after several attempts from different voices. Great to have offline services as internet access can be challenging. Over-all a decent translation device.

*Update - I got the chance to test the noise isolation tech these at a later date in a noisy outdoor cafe (other people talking and music). Unlike other translators on the market, the new Bone-Voiceprint sensors work surprisingly well. Despite the external noises, the earbuds did not turn start translation until you actually speak, blocking out unwanted noise and speech. This is huge as my previous earbuds would start translating even when I didn't say a word. This dual pickup between the bone conduction and noise canceling mic is a game-changer. In addition, the context-aware AI with Babel 2.0 also cleans up what you actually said vs what you meant to say so if you fumble your words, it does a decent job of auto-correcting. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.
I’ve owned all the products with the exception of the W4 pro and the X1. Each new product gets better. The W4 translators are amazing. and I use Tilekettle products almost most daily. It’s nice to use these since you can put your phone in pocket. Then Just relax and talk. The new AI assistance with translation makes it even more accurate. If someone doesn’t want to use the ear bud, then they can speak and hear from your phone while you wear the right ear bud.
