The translation works. Works best with each person having one earpiece. Ear buds don’t stay in my ear. Wish I could use my other earpieces with the app.
I ended up purchasing the protective case for the W-4 pro. Number one it protects your charging case with a very stylish gray case. It’s padded in case you drop it. It has it where you can charge and see whether or not your case is charging or charged. overall, I would say this is 100% win love it of course when you have the best translation earbuds on the market it only gets better.
I haven't taken traveling yet, but it seems to work well, its very light. Only issue I had was connecting to home wifi, kept saying wrong password, which it was not, you do need to connect as its necessary to download offline maps and to update the device. I had to make my phone a Hotspot to get it done. The camera function works well. Im sure it will be fantastic when I do go to China.
The X1 Hub is quite good overall, and most features work great. However, the translation speed during 1-on-1 conversations could be a little faster. Aside from that, I'm happy with it.
It’s been a great first week. I’m really impressed with the functionality of this device.
The battery life is an issue. If you plan on 8+ hours of the device being on standby then know this will drain a lot of the battery. Keep it charged or bring a spare battery.
Otherwise, this device is epic with what it does. Jump into the New T1.
In my opinion,most of the technology and features are in the app, so the headphones are secondary. These don't have the upgrades and good looks of the newer model, but work just fine for its intended use. A+
What I liked most was the speed. I’m looking forward to using them to have a real conversation with some of my Vietnamese friends.
am happy with these earbuds. The AI feature allows you to work with translated text and keep the conversation history available, which is very useful.
One thing I do not particularly like is the 4-second translation delay. However, when you consider that after only four seconds you can understand someone speaking a different language, it is still quite amazing.
I have also tested them for phone calls. I purchased these earbuds recently, so I am still learning how convenient they are in everyday use. My conversation partner said they understood everything clearly, although there were small pauses caused by the translation process.

Before I bought these I purchased a cheaper set of translating ear buds and I was very disappointed with them. These W4 are excellent and more than met my expectations!
I’ve tried literally every translation tool out there, and nothing even comes close to the W-4 Pro.
Standard translation and Zoom’s native tech completely fail when it comes to high-tech sales, but this device is on another level. The most insane part? It actually listens to the context of your entire sentence. If you say a technical word that could have a double meaning, the device waits until you finish speaking, realizes what you actually meant, and instantly corrects the translated word so it makes perfect sense to the client.
Because it captures my actual meaning—not just the literal words—my humor, jokes, and technical analogies actually land.

The Timekettle W4 Pro has honestly been a game-changer for me. I recently used it while traveling in Japan, and it made communication incredibly smooth and stress-free. The translations were fast, accurate, and natural enough to hold real conversations. The only annoying downside is the 5-6 second lag you'll receive during one-on-one conversations at times; especially when not connected to the internet.
I’ve also used the W4 Pro extensively with both Colombian Spanish and Venezuelan Spanish speakers, and so far I haven’t had any issues at all. It has worked flawlessly across different accents and conversational styles, which really impressed me.
The earbuds are comfortable, easy to set up, and the app interface is very intuitive. What I appreciate most is how natural conversations feel while using them compared to traditional translation apps.
If you travel often, work with international teams, or simply communicate across languages regularly, I highly recommend the W4 Pro. It has definitely been worth the investment for me.
It has many languages but the only downside is it takes about 5 seconds for your app/device to decipher what the translation will be then it plays in your ear. But you need to have the app open and running in order for them to work so when the phone is asleep it will run but not after a while because your phone pauses the app after a while. Last thing is that you need to use your phone microphone in order for the app to pick up the person that you need to translate. Most of it depends on telephone speed and app speed. But overall my grandma is very happy with it so far after a couple weeks of using it. She needed Greek to polish translation btw. Hope this review helps the public be not so weary because I know I was when buying it for my grandma. Thanks so far timekettle.
I bought a set of translators w4Pro AI. I was extremely happy with them. So much so my good friend asked me to purchase a set for him. He has received them and is also very happy with them. Excellent product!
The W4 Pro AI Interpreter Earbuds are faster translating one-on-one conversations than the X1 AI Interpreter Hub. The speed of translation of the W4 Pro AI Interpreter Earbuds is inconsistent. There are sometimes longer delays. I use a Samsung S25 phone to process, which has a fast processing chip and AI assist.
Will know better when I take them to Italy in Sept. just wish we had an off line Italian mode.
