Timekettle Chat Mode: Instant Message Translated in Max 40 Languages, Max 200 people in Group

    Timekettle Team rolled out the Beta version of Chat Mode in May 2022 for both iOS and Android users, supports 40 languages and max 200 users can get bilingual subtitles with the instant message with Timekettle APP V2.2.12 for Android or V2.2.0 for iOS. Currently open for testing, welcome to join the Beta user testing project and provide your precious feedback. >>Join Beta Test

    Group Chat

    This feature was first released in October 2020, and was introduced to crowdfunding users as a bonus feature of M2 Translator Earbuds Campaign on Indiegogo. The upgraded version was released first in December 2021, with the Android system only. And this year, the iOS system is developed to solve communication barriers for more consumers. Although the Beta version may experience some level of immaturity, and we are absolutely looking to improve it with your feedback and suggestions.

    1. Support multi-language translation
    Chat Mode currently supports translation in 40 languages. When you select the default language, all other languages will be automatically translated into the selected language in the group, with the original text in another language for reference. If you switch to another language, you only need to re-enter the group to refresh to the new selected language.

    2. Support Contacts Book and Group Management

    It is convenient to keep in touch with your international friends or business partners. Added CONTACTS features to manage your records in a better way. Use IMID (8 numbers) to add a new account and invite friends to your chat group. You can also use STICKY ON TOP to pin some important groups for quick access. All dialogue, while online, will be saved on your phone.

    - How to add new contacts -
    • Open Chat Mode on MENU of Timekettle APP
    • Select Message (New)
    • Select Contacts at the bottom right
    • Press the "+" button and select Add to Contacts
    • Enter the IMID of your friends (For Beta testers, please enter 92266029 to add our staff)
    • Select Add to confirm and your friends request will be sent successfully
    3. Support Multiple Forms Of Access
    Each user can use the Chat mode by texting in your phone, speaking to your phone, with Timekettle WT2 Edge / WT2 Plus Translator Earbuds, or Timekettle M2 Translator Earbuds. This means that even if you did not purchase our products, you can still use this feature inside our app. Of course, we would recommend to use the Chat Mode with Timekettle products for optimal experience.

    4. Support Voice Input
    During voice input, tap to turn on the voice recognition and you can speak continuously which is more user-friendly and efficient than other apps where you need to press and hold buttons.

      Notes:

      The Chat Mode does not currently support the voice call feature; the maximum number of attendees in a group will be 200; the current version is under beta testing, do not rely solely on this feature for recording as instability may still occur.
